This Halloween opens the gates to Corruption, a mode that keeps your experience as fresh as the meat those hungry cyborgs crave... Take your place among the hunters or the damned, and unlock rewards from the Demons weapon series inspired by the eerie legends of Hyakki Yagyō.
Event Rewards
Hyakki Yagyō and its spirits have possessed the weapons of the event. Will you be able to control their fury, or will you be consumed by the Type 97, Chiappa Triple Threat, FAMAE SAF-200, and M14 Crazy Horse? Their power will be yours for 2000 cards.

About Showcase and ways to obtain event currency
How the Showcase works:
- Use the button to refresh items in the Showcase. To activate this feature, spend event currency.
- The Showcase refreshes automatically every 24 hours.
- Each time you manually refresh, you fill up a progress bar. When the bar hits 100%, you’ll get a special offer that lets you choose one valuable item for free.
- Once you pick your item, the other special offers disappear, and the progress bar resets. Don’t worry, you can fill it again to get another offer. There’s no limit to how many you can receive.
- If you run short on currency, you can buy packs of 300, 800, 2200, or 5000 black market coins from the event store to get the items you want.
Ways to earn event points:
- By leveling up Bonus Storage with WF$.
- By obtaining them in the Shop.
- By playing the event game mode.
- By completing event contracts.
- By completing new SOs each week. The harder the difficulty, the more points you earn. Four SOs are available on all difficulty levels and rotate weekly alongside reward updates.
PvP mode Corruption
Corruption is an asymmetric mode, where 16 survivors have to fight for their lives on spooky, revamped maps. But in this game mode, trust is a luxury you can’t afford. Three players will be randomly chosen to become patient zero, the first buffed cyborgs. Their mission is clear: hunt down the survivors and turn them to the dark side. Once a survivor dies, no matter how, they switch sides, gaining razor-sharp claws, x-ray vision and a single goal – eliminate their former allies.
The longer you survive as a human, and the more players you take down as a cyborg, the higher your score at the end of the match. Even if your team loses, only your personal contribution counts. Plus, as you complete sinister tasks throughout the game, you’ll unlock eerie achievements that make the experience even more thrilling!
Cyborgs
There are several types of these ferocious beasts:
- Ordinary cyborg: runs fast, hits quickly, but lacks HP. considered a glass cannon.
- Gas cyborg: explodes with poisonous gas upon death. Its main goal is to run into the heart of the survivors’ defenses and die with glory.
- Buffed cyborg: has more HP than an ordinary cyborg and acts as a flesh shield.
- Ranged cyborg: has either a tomahawk or a gas grenade in its arsenal. its aim is as sharp as its claws.
Survivors
Survivors have one mission: stay alive until the round ends. There are special power-ups on the map that can help turn the dark tides of the battlefield. Each of them changes the gameplay and grants new abilities:
- The gravedigger: armed with a trusty sapper shovel that heals them after killing cyborgs.
- The gunslinger: equipped with a self-loading revolver that deals extra damage to cyborgs, making it an ideal tool for close-quarters combat.
- Juggernaut: arms the survivor with a six-barrel machine gun and an explosive-laden suit, delivering immense firepower to turn the tide of the fight, especially in the final moments of a match. Winning a round with the juggernaut power-up grants the survivor a special bonus in the next round, increasing their stamina and movement speed.
Maps
The mode is available on the Motel, Widestreet, and Relic thematic maps. Pumpkins, chilling sounds, ghosts, and lots of easter eggs are hidden all over the place.
