An updated version of the familiar map Widestreet will be available in Free for All mode soon. The gameplay and design of the map will be significantly upgraded.

Which map comes to mind first when you think of Free for All mode? It's most likely Widestreet, the most popular map in the most all-out Warface mode.

The gameplay hasn't changed radically—most key points are in the same spots. However, players will no longer be able to access the second floor of the high building in the center of the map, safely camping and getting frags. We also removed some fences that made players vulnerable while climbing over them. Some respawn points now have more cover, so players are safer from being picked off when they respawn there.

The ground is now more even. This will help players avoid possible problems with sliding and shaking while aiming, so you can focus on accurate shooting.

The visuals were also updated. The light and materials are now more lifelike and realistic, which recreates the unique Middle Eastern atmosphere more precisely without sacrificing enemy visibility. The number of plants on the map has been decreased, so it will be harder to hide.

And when you find yourself at a high observation point, don't forget to take a closer look at what's beyond the river.
