Cyber Horde raid
Blackwood scientists have been working on cybernetic implants in a top secret lab despite the obvious threat of such experiments. Now their twisted creations have broken free and are causing havoc. As a result, an entire region in Eastern Europe is flooded with these failed tests victims. Hordes of cybernetic zombies are roaming free as their numbers grow. Blackwood is helpless in facing this swarm so don’t expect them to show up. Nevertheless, they’ve successfully created several subtypes of mutated cyborgs, some of which are far more dangerous than certain other Blackwood’s creations and forces — so at least there’s that. The Warface squad is tasked with delivering a vehicle housing an EMP generator, to stop the production of these monstrosities.

HQ raid
Recon’s discovered the new whereabouts of Blackwood’s HQ. Coincidentally, it’s where you’ll find one of its high-ranking officers — Oberon White. The Warface squad will have to assault the building and fight their way up every floor to the very top to capture him, dead or alive. You’ll get more than an armed resistance — as you enter each floor, you’ll get swarmed with continuous assaults by Blackwood forces armed to the teeth: automatic weapons, sniper rifles and even RPGs. Intel suggests one of the floors may have a Heavy Gunner — as the name suggests, the guy hits heavy and is extremely hard to take down.
Anubis Raid
We’re receiving alarming news from Africa. Our constant assaults on Blackwood’s holding in the region have forced them to take it up to the next level and dig in deeper. In short, they’re constructing massive defences, military bases, research labs and production facilities.
The Escape from Anubis Raid
Deployed to a secret location, the Warface squad gets trapped in a sandstorm. Signal loss leads to a total blackout in comms, and the sheer, overwhelming darkness is just teeming with cyborg hordes waiting to strike. The squad will have to come together, brace and fight like never before to survive. The situation’s looking grim and the unlikely aid comes when you least expect it. But what can you expect from this sudden ally, given his previous sinister motives?

Get ready to shoot and reload a lot, as you won’t get a breather here. Live action takes place on small maps and the winner is determined by the highest score at the end of the round.

Attackers are tasked to break through enemy defences and plant the bomb at one of the two key checkpoints. Defenders initially take control of the plant sites and have to eliminate the threat, either by killing the attackers, defending the site, or defusing the bomb.

This game mode puts one side on the offensive to take three consecutive checkpoints. In order to win, not only do you have to capture all three checkpoints, but do it faster than the opposition.

The Volcano Raid
Suspicious seismic activity has been sighted in Sector H26 right at the foot of the mountain. Normally, it wouldn’t be unusual, given that it’s an active volcano, though our analysis suggests it cannot be natural causes. Blackwood’s got a research facility right in this area, and one of Blackwood’s key officers, Ursula Ellis, has visited this location on several occasions. Aerial and satellite scans have yielded no results, so the Warface squad will have to head there and infil the lab.

With each round lasting only 90 seconds, the attackers have to defuse the bomb already planted at a single plant site, while the defenders have to deny them the chance to do so. Best choice for dynamic action right off the bat!

The territory of this military operation is quite large: a lot of passages, descents into basements and ascents to the upper floors, as well as narrow detours and open spaces.

Intel reports a new Blackwood facility under construction, remarkably similar in appearance to the skyscraper we’ve taken down in Special Operation “Tower Raid”. If this one’s to be the new Blackwood HQ, then we’ve got a problem: we need to destroy it asap. We’ve got reasons to believe the tower is to be finished in the next couple of weeks, and then its defences will be up. Thus, the new “Shark” will be practically invulnerable. The main task is to plant the charges at each of the numerous floors of the skyscraper. Apart from that, you have to hack the servers and obtain the data from internal Blackwood networks. Even when unfinished, this project will yield a lot of usable information for us.

Action takes place in Siberian mountain ranges. We’ve been getting unusual readings from the satellites, and an entire sector’s been as if wiped off the face of the earth. Any further attempts to bypass the signal have been unsuccessful, and that warrants a ground operation.

This game mode tasks both teams with attacking and defending several checkpoints on the map. Controlling a checkpoint awards points, so the longer you hold one — the longer it ticks in your favor.

Your goal is to survive by any means and eliminate all competition. Last man standing wins. At the start, you only have melee weapons, so you’ll have to put your survival skills to the test: scavenge and watch your back, the playing area shrinks with every stage and soon enough there won’t be a place to hide!

The situation’s grim: Blackwood is on a successful offensive against the Warface headquarters. You have to repel their attacks! The squad will be inserted in area adjacent to the base for a flanking strike. Blackwood is employing a variety of experimental weapons, modernized attack helicopters and battlecruisers. Enemy ground forces are just as well-equipped and prepared, consisting of the old and familiar units as well as the new elite ones. This is a full scale war, and Blackwood’s dead set on wiping Warface off the face of the earth.

Despite several defeats, Blackwood doesn’t seem to be willing to cease their attempts to create supersoldiers. A gigantic tower and bunkers surrounding it serve as a defensive research facility Blackwood’s using to conduct their (often human!) experiments. There are yet more surprises waiting for those that dare venture into the hostile exclusion zone. The sole mention of the Chernobyl catastrophe is enough to get your imagination going and picturing the devastation and nightmares, but the Warface squad will have to infil the abandoned town, learn and unveil its secrets.
